An 8.5 hour course to develop the knowledge and ability to positively change how we live, work and behave in response to climate change. The course includes a carbon literacy certificate. Sessions cover: Understanding the basic science and drivers of climate change; Learning about actions that can be taken on an individual, organisational and community scale to reduce emissions and create a personal action plan; Providing awareness and understanding of the local context of the climate crisis and what challenges and opportunities exist or are expected in the area.
This course is delivered by Groundwork on behalf of the Bedfordshire Employment & Skills Academy, part of Central Bedfordshire Council.
