Description

Good writing skills help us communicate ideas and opinions clearly which are important in the workplace, for educational progression and in everyday life. This course will develop your written communication across different topics, and will support you to move onto an accredited Functional Skills English qualification.

This course is delivered by Bedfordshire Employment & Skills Academy, part of Central Bedfordshire Council.

Do you want to build confidence with your English writing skills? Whether you're writing a formal email, messaging a colleague or creating a written document as part of your role, this course covers tips for correcting spelling and grammar mistakes, giving a professional look to your communications and practising your proof reading skills.

Who is it suitable for?
This course is suitable for you if you want to improve your writing skills, whether it's for work emails or in your personal life. This course will help you progress onto an accredited Functional Skills English qualification.

How is it completed?
Complete this course by attending sessions at a local community venue or in an online classroom on Microsft Teams.

How long does it take to complete the course?
Between 3 to 6 weeks.

What are the entry requirements?
You must be at least 19 years old living or working in Central Bedfordshire or Bedford Borough.

Location
This workshop is delivered in different community venues across Central Bedfordshire and Bedford Borough, or in an online classroom on Microsoft Teams.
