Understanding Measures in Work and Life
What does the course cover?
Have you ever thought about how often we measure different things? We measure time, temperature, weight, speed, length and much more on a daily basis. This course will provide you with the skills to feel confident using different methods of measuring, including being able to make an educated estimate of a measure which can be a useful tool.
Who is it suitable for?
This course is suitable for you if you want to improve your maths skills to progress onto an accredited Functional Skills maths qualification.
How is it completed?
Complete this course by attending sessions at a local community venue or in an online classroom on Microsft Teams.
How long does it take to complete the course?
Between 3 to 6 weeks.
What are the entry requirements?
You must be at least 19 years old living or working in Central Bedfordshire or Bedford Borough.
Location
This workshops is delivered in different community venues across Central Bedfordshire and Bedford Borough, or in an online classroom on Microsoft Teams.
When can I start?

What can I progress onto after completing?
You can progress onto achieving Functional Skills Maths Level 1 and 2 qualifications.
