What does the course cover?
Shape and space make up the world around us, so it's important to have a strong understanding of these concepts. You will develop your confidence with spatial awareness for your DIY plans, navigation and planning a journey, as well as how to read a map for when the trusty sat-nav takes you to a dead end.

Who is it suitable for?
This course is suitable for you if you want to improve your maths skills to progress onto an accredited Functional Skills maths qualification.

How is it completed?
Complete this course by attending sessions at a local community venue or in an online classroom on Microsoft Teams.

How long does it take to complete the course?
Between 3 to 6 weeks.

What are the entry requirements?
You must be at least 19 years old living or working in Central Bedfordshire or Bedford Borough.

Location
This workshops is delivered in different community venues across Central Bedfordshire and Bedford Borough, or in an online classroom on Microsoft Teams.

What can I progress onto after completing?
You can progress onto achieving Functional Skills Maths Level 1 and 2 qualifications.
