What does the course cover?
It is important to feel confident with your ability to communicate at work. This course will take you through written and spoken skills for communicating with colleagues, managers and in meetings, when you should call or message colleagues in certain scenarios, and confidence with giving a presentation and taking notes.
Who is it suitable for?
This course is suitable for you if you are looking to improve your communication skills at work. This course will help you progress onto an accredited Functional Skills English qualification.
How is it completed?
Complete this course by attending sessions at a local community venue or in an online classroom on Microsft Teams.
How long does it take to complete the course?
Between 3 to 6 weeks.
What are the entry requirements?
You must be at least 19 years old living or working in Central Bedfordshire or Bedford Borough.
Location
This workshop is delivered in different community venues across Central Bedfordshire and Bedford Borough, or in an online classroom on Microsoft Teams.

What can I progress onto after completing?
You can progress onto achieving Functional Skills English Level 1 and 2 qualifications.
