What does the course cover?
How to enable children to learn, how to promote health & wellbeing, how to identify and support special education needs and how to work with families to implement change.
Who is it suitable for?
Experienced early years practitioners who are mentoring and coaching staff. It would suit learners who are looking to develop leadership and specialist skills for use in their current role, or in preparation to take on a specialist role such as a Physical Activity and Nutrition Coordinator. It would also suit learners who want to progress to further learning to take on a position of leadership within the setting.
How is it completed?
By completing written assignments, a research project, completing e-learning as well as reflection on current practice.
How long does it take to complete the course?
11 months.
What are the entry requirements?
You must be at least 19 years old, hold a relevant Level 3 qualification and be working in a suitable role for a minimum of 15 hours per week.
Location
Independent learning completed online, with remote support from an assessor.
When can I start?
Anytime.
What can I progress onto after completing?
You may wish to move on to any of our short CPD qualifications.
Cost
£800. You may be eligible for an advanced learner loan. Otherwise, payment by instaments can be arranged.
