What does the course cover?
The qualification covers key theories, practical approaches, and effective communication techniques to support your understanding of specific learning difficulties. As part of this qualification, you will: Explore the characteristics and impact of dyslexia, dyspraxia, ADHD, and other specific learning difficulties. Learn practical techniques for identifying and supporting learners with specific learning difficulties. Understand assessment methods and accommodations for learners with specific learning difficulties. Explore legislation related to specific learning difficulties, including the Equality Act.

Who is it suitable for?
This qualification is suitable for those who want to enhance their understanding of specific learning difficulties. However, you don't need to be working in a relevant job role or have any prior knowledge or experience.

How is it completed?
This is a short professional qualification, which is completed entirely online. There's no face-to-face contact with your assessor. Instead, you will be uploading evidence to an online learning platform, which will be assessed remotely, and feedback provided.

How long does it take to complete the course?
3 months.

You must be at least 19 years old.
