What does the course cover?
You'll be introduced to the concepts of equality and diversity in a variety of environments, including society, the community, and the workplace. You will also:
Highlight how stereotyping and labelling affect individuals.
Outline the effects of prejudice and discrimination.
Stress the importance of taking individual responsibility and action to help and support others.
Raise awareness of the issues surrounding equality and diversity.
Who is it suitable for?
Anyone who has an interest in learning more about equality and diversity. You don't need to be working or volunteering in a relevant role.
How is it completed?
This is a short professional qualification, which is completed entirely online. There's no face-to-face contact with the assessor. Instead, you will be uploading evidence to an online learning platform, which will be assessed remotely by the assessor, and feedback provided.
How long does it take to complete the course?
3 months.
What are the entry requirements?
You must be at least 19 years old.
Location
Independent learning completed online, with remote support from an assessor.

Anytime.
What can I progress onto after completing?
You may wish to move on to any of our short CPD qualifications.
