Description

This qualification aims to introduce you to the retrofit sector of the construction industry. You'll gain knowledge and understanding of the principles of retrofit and it will support you to progress onto the NVQ Level 2 in Building Insulation and Treatments. You'll be able to interpret domestic retrofit information, identify materials and risks of damage, as well as understand and carry out basic domestic retrofit installations.

This course is delivered by training provider Installation Assurance Authority on behalf of Bedfordshire Employment & Skills Academy, part of Central Bedfordshire Council.
