Description

NCFE CACHE Level 3 Diploma for Working in the Early Years Sector (Early Year Educator)

This qualification is designed to prepare you with the knowledge, skills and understanding to work in early years settings. You will need to be working or volunteering in an early years placement to show competence in both knowledge and skills, this is an important part of the assessment process. The course duration is 24 months.

You will learn about the role of the early years educator; typical child development sequences; how development is affected by a special educational needs and how to provide an effective environment for play and learning. In addition, you'll learn about pedagogical approaches and early years theorists, as well as relevant safeguarding and health & safety procedures.

On completion of this Level 3 Diploma, learners will be able to enter the early years workforce as an Early Years Educator. However, learners will need to hold a suitable Level 2 English qualification in order to count within the staff:child ratio at Level 3, as detailed in the EYFS Statutory Framework.
