Entry requirements
Anyone 19+ who is working or volunteering in an early years setting for a minimum of 7 hours per week.
What does the course cover?
1. Explore childhood and family structures.
2. Examine Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and understand potential outcomes for children enduring ACEs.
3. Understand the role of the practitioner in supporting children impacted by ACEs.
4. Develop strategies to improve outcomes for children affected by ACEs.
How is it completed?
This programme is delivered by Bedfordshire Employment and Skills Academy.
It is delivered via an e-learning platform, accessible at any time, with regular assessor support.
