This interactive 2-hour online workshop helps you create and tailor CVs and cover letters that make a strong impression during the recruitment process. With practical guidance and useful tips, you'll gain a clear understanding of best practices and learn how to adapt your applications for different roles. By the end of the session, you'll feel confident in improving your CV and cover letter as you take the next step in your career journey.  

What does the course cover?
During the workshop, you will learn how to structure and write an effective CV and cover letter; understand how to tailor your CV and cover letter for different job roles; gain essential tips for staying safe online.

Who is it suitable for?
This workshop is ideal for anyone preparing to get into work, change careers or seeking progression opportunities.

How is it completed?
You'll attend a 2-hour virtual classroom session via Microsoft Teams, delivered by a friendly careers advisor. The content will be delivered by presentation, with opportunities for discussion and questions during the workshop. There will be an activity to evaluate some CVs and covering letters during the session.

How long does it take to complete the course?
2 hours

What are the entry requirements?
You must be at least 19 years old and live or work in Central Bedfordshire or Bedford Borough.

This workshop is delivered in an online classroom on Microsoft Teams.
