What does the course cover?
Over the 8-week bootcamp, learners will cover AI foundations, data, automation, and workflows, followed by AI tools and prompt engineering. They will then explore creative and practical uses of AI, as well as responsible AI, including ethics, risks, and governance. The programme also covers AI in business and employability, before focusing on building, completing, and submitting an AI skills portfolio.
Alongside vocational training, participants will be supported to develop essential Maths and English skills; create a CV and prepare for interviews; address personal barriers to participation and progression through regular employability and soft skills workshops, careers guidance, pastoral support and specialist learning support for those with learning difficulties and disabilities.
Following completion of their 8-week programme, participants will be supported to develop a progression plan and will benefit from 6 months support to secure progression to sustainable employment or self-employment.
Entry requirements and who is it suitable for
This bootcamp is open to those unemployed and seeking work, in work or self-employed and looking to upskill or reskill or returning to work after some time away.
No previous experience is required. This bootcamp develops AI, employability and personal skills supporting participants to progress to sustained employment or self-employment.
How is it completed?
This course is delivered over 8 weeks, Monday to Friday, 09:30 - 16:00. The course blends online and face to face delivery of group workshops, e-learning and portfolio development. Learners will attend tutor led online sessions 4 days per week and local face to face masterclasses 1 day per week.

What can I progress onto?
On completion of this bootcamp, learners are supported for up to 6 months to help them move into sustained employment. Employer partners also offer ongoing training and career progression.
